Earned MM in Conducting from the Aaron Copland School of Music
Trained as pianist, vocalist, bassoonist, and conductor
Lives in Aberdeen, NJ with her husband Chaim and son Roni
Anecdotes
Was introduced to classical music through ballet as a small child by her mother; first ballet was Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker
Began piano studies at 4 and bassoon studies at 12
Played bassoon in the Children’s Orchestra Society and the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra of New York as a teen
Sang at the Vatican and in Italian cathedrals with her high school chamber choir
Began conducting choir, wind ensemble, and marching band as a high schooler at Manhasset High School in a suburb of New York City – school had 2 orchestras, 2 bands, and 4 choirs
